Chakra Basti therapy @ Nadipathy

Bhasti therapy is an ancient therapy in ayurveda. It is a detoxification process and balance five elements in body.  The word chakra means wheel or disk and basti stands for a container or retaining something inside. It is also called as nabhi basti. Applied to the work on umbilical region. Which therapy is regularly done at Nadipathy.

     In ayurveda therapist select the medicated oil or ghee to be used. After accessing the body constitution and doshic imbalance. A therapist made to lie down over back. Dough is prepared out of wheat flour. It is then made into a small ring of four to five inches in diameter. The chakra basti is performed by medicated oil or ghee this dam either by gently pouring or squeezed. In this therapy acts on solar plexus thus balance the digestive fire, strengthen the power of digestion and absorption, and facilitates the release of deep seated emotions.

   In this therapy all aspects of the individual body, mind, and soul. This treatment supports the navel which major marma point connecting the thousands of vibrational channels of the body (nadi) which carry prana life energy. In Nadipathy panchakarma is one of the detoxification treatments. By Nadi diagnose we measure the toxicity of three Doshas (i.e Vata, Pitta, Kapha) and Organs energy.

    In chakra nabi basti the container which has an open bottom is then filled with warm medicated oil. The oil pulls out negative energy, physical toxins, and balances the all doshas. It is very soothing to entire physiology it open and balance the third chakra.
